- For lodging (Liliput/Wooden House), it is recommended to book early via Perantunan social media because the units are limited.
- If you come by car, prepare cash for motorcycle taxis (ojek) because the road to the base camp is quite narrow and only accessible by motorcycles.
- For hikers, don’t forget to register at the registration post and follow the applicable hiking rules.

Semarang has public transportation called BRT or Trans Semarang. If you are interested in going to Mount Ungaran by BRT or Trans Semarang, you can utilize this public transportation, don’t forget to take note that this public transportation can not directly take you to the destination. BRT or Trans Semarang only can get you to based of Ungaran area, especially Terminal Sisemut. Then, you can continue your trip by ride hailing near Terminal Sisemut.Â
