Nestled in the Regency of Semarang, Central Java Mount Ungaran is one of the mountains that is located there. 3. Camping Ground
   This place can be an option for those of you who prefer an outdoor atmosphere. Staying in a tent while enjoying the cool mountain air, shady trees, and beautiful golden sunrise in the morning are the main reasons why this place is so popular. The facilities are also quite complete, starting from a prayer room, toilets, food stands, and camping gear rentals.

• For lodging (Liliput/Wooden House), it is recommended to book early via Perantunan social media because the units are limited.
• If you come by car, prepare cash for motorcycle taxis (ojek) because the road to the base camp is quite narrow and only accessible by motorcycles.
• For hikers, don’t forget to register at the registration post and follow the applicable hiking rules.

Mount Ungaran is located in West Ungaran, Semarang Regency, Central Java. There are some options to get to Mount Ungaran from the downtown, the options are:

• BRT
  Semarang has  public transportation called BRT or Trans Semarang. If you are interested in going to Mount Ungaran by BRT or Trans Semarang, you can utilize this public transportation, don’t forget to take note that this public transportation can not directly take you to the destination. BRT or Trans Semarang only can get you to based of Ungaran area, especially Terminal Sisemut. Then, you can continue your trip by ride hailing near Terminal Sisemut. 

• Ride Hailing
  The visitors can try to use ride hailing, you can download the app that is available in your phone, such as; Gojek, or Grab. Then you set “Mount Ungaran” as your destination. 

• Self Drive
  If you choose to drive, renting a car or scooter from local providers is a great option. The visitors only need to open the maps and set the route to Gunung Ungaran.You don’t have to worry about the parking area, there are plenty of available parking areas.
